VSME stands for Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises. It is a simplified ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting framework developed by EFRAG (the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group) to help SMEs report on sustainability in a way that is practical, relevant, and scalable.

Unlike larger corporations, SMEs often don’t have the resources to navigate complex reporting requirements. VSME bridges that gap by offering a voluntary, easy-to-use standard that aligns with key elements of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), while still being light-touch and manageable.

VSME Disclosure Workbook

The primary workbook, which will be used throughout the course. This is where you collect and structure all the data you need to report. Each section of this workbook has its own video tutorial. This is a great tool to use year after year!

VSME Double Materiality Analysis Workbook

This workbook is developed to help you do a preliminary double materiality assessment (DMA). It is not required to conduct a DMA when reporting according to the VSME standard, but it is great to use as a strategic tool regardless.
